This Is Me

I'm originally from Trenton, TN, the "home of the world's largest collection of teapots." During my senior year of high school I started working at UPS as a package unloader. After graduation, I began working at WWEZ-FM, which later became WTNE-FM, as a board operator and disc jockey. Yes, I was a DJ...I even had my own radio show on Sunday mornings!

After spending four years on and off in community college, I decided it was time to move on. I came to The University of Memphis in the fall of 1998, and landed my first TV job in January 1999, at WMC-TV. I worked on every floor while at WMC, spending most of my time in the news department as a photographer. My last year was spent in the creative services department as a producer, where I wrote, shot, and edited commercials.

In April of 2003, I met my future wife, Julie, on a blind date, and we got married In September 2004. We don't have any children as of yet, much to my mother's dismay. I take that back - we do have one child, our cat, Boo. He acts just like a little kid, needing attention just as much. We live in a great neighborhood called Humes Heights. It's quiet and just on the border of Mid-town.

In Thanksgiving of 2007, I left WMC-TV to take a new opportunity at Running Pony Productions. After working as a freelancer for Running Pony almost six years, I became a full time employee. I'm currently a motion graphics and commerical editor, but I also shoot and edit video and help out where I'm needed.
